Over the past few days, it’s been great to visit local small businesses all over town to talk about the issues they face. Turns out there are a lot of barriers to job growth and economic development that can be addressed if city government becomes more responsive and effective.
I’ll be writing more about this soon, but I’ve been grateful that so many businesses — ranging from Francesco’s Ristorante on Franklin Avenue to Professional Barber Shop downtown to AllOra’R Teas and Beverages in Frog Hollow — have opened their doors and shared their views.
